Empowering the underprivileged since 1973 through compassionate service and sustainable development
URDES-India (Urban & Rural Development Society India) is a registered non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering the poorest and most vulnerable sections of society. Since 1973, we have worked tirelessly to provide food, shelter, clothing, medical aid, and rehabilitation to the poor, sick, elderly, physically and mentally challenged, leprosy patients, street children, orphans, and victims of natural disasters — without discrimination of caste, creed, color, gender, or religion.
To bring hope and dignity to those who have been forgotten by society by providing essential services, education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities that enable sustainable transformation.
A just and equitable society where every individual has access to basic human rights and opportunities for growth, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Providing homes, jobs, and comprehensive medical care to cured leprosy patients in Kurnool and Bellary, helping them reintegrate into society with dignity.
Rebuilding lives through permanent housing and livelihood support after cyclones and floods, ensuring communities emerge stronger than before.
Sheltering, educating, and training street and working children to build a better future, breaking the cycle of poverty through education.
